For those of you who were bummed to hear the recent news about the cancellation of popular Nickelodeon show "Victorious," you are not alone. Series star Victoria Justice was just as surprised as the rest of us.
"Yeah, I was pretty shocked by 'Victorious' ending — I had no idea," Justice told MTV News recently. "I thought for sure we were going to be doing a fourth season, so I was expecting to get a call being like, 'Hey guys, we're coming back this day,' but instead my castmembers were like, 'Pssst....did you hear? We're not picked up,' so I was definitely surprised, but at the same time I think I'm definitely at peace with the decision because I'm 19, I've grown up on Nickelodeon and I've had a great time there but I'm excited to be able to explore new possibilities."
Victoria Justice 'Shocked' Over 'Victorious' Cancellation
Justice should have no problem moving on, as the teen queen is just wrapping up her Make It in America tour and will soon start promoting her teen action comedy, "Fun Size." Plus, we still have the last season of "Victorious" to watch, which prompted us to ask if there's any chance the cast and crew might do a "Victorious" TV movie as a way to add some closure to the series.
"I'm not sure, I'm not sure what's going to happen with 'Victorious,' " Justice said. "At this point there's not, there's not really a finale episode which is a little bit of a bummer. I would have liked that to happen for the fans but I think there are still some good episodes to come. There are 15 new episodes coming out and those are really great, lots of great performances and new music, so I think the fans will be happy.
